Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the NextReno website and your engagement of our construction and renovation services. They are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. This site helps homeowners, businesses, and organizations connect with NextReno for construction and renovation services. Information on this site is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute a binding offer or contract.
2. Services Provided
NextReno provides residential, commercial, retail, medical, and restoration construction and renovation services, including basement renovation, kitchen renovation, bathroom renovation, home additions, custom homes, and fire and water damage restoration. We do not promote individual trade-only work or service calls such as electrical-only, plumbing-only, framing-only, roofing repair, or window repair as standalone offerings.
3. Estimates and Pricing
Any estimate provided through this site or our estimator is a ballpark range only and is not a fixed-price contract until agreed in writing. In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario), any contract for goods or services we enter into with you will clearly set out the scope of work, pricing, and other essential terms. We do not offer discounts.
4. Project Scope and Responsibility
Customers are responsible for confirming project scope, pricing, availability, site conditions, permits, and scheduling details before work begins. NextReno coordinates permits, drawings, engineering, and scheduling as part of full project management; however, final confirmation of all project parameters rests with the customer.
5. Contracts and Written Agreements
All construction and renovation services are performed under a separate written agreement that governs the specific project, including scope, price, payment schedule, timelines, and warranty terms. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and a signed project agreement, the signed project agreement prevails.
6. Home Improvement Contracts Under Ontario Law
For residential renovation and home improvement projects in Ontario, written agreements comply with the requirements of the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 and its regulations, including disclosure of total price, itemized charges, and any cooling-off period. You may have cancellation rights as provided under Ontario law; please review your written agreement for details.
7. Permits, Drawings, and Engineering
Where required by the Ontario Building Code and local municipal bylaws, NextReno coordinates the preparation of drawings, engineering, and permit applications. Permit issuance is subject to the authority of the local municipality, and NextReno is not responsible for delays or conditions imposed by municipal building departments.
8. Insurance
NextReno carries $5 Million Liability Insurance. This is provided as a factual statement of coverage and does not constitute a guarantee, warranty, or bond. Specific coverage details are confirmed in the written project agreement.
9. Payment Terms
Payment schedules and terms are set out in the written project agreement. Deposits and progress payments are governed by the terms of that agreement and applicable Ontario law. Any estimate or quote provided on this website is informational only and is not binding.
10. Warranties and Disclaimers
This website is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Workmanship warranties for completed projects are set out in the written project agreement. We do not make any representation regarding licensing, bonding, or guaranteed outcomes beyond what is expressly stated in a signed agreement.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NextReno is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of this site. Our liability for any construction or renovation services is governed by the written project agreement and applicable Ontario law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 and the Construction Act, 1990 (Ontario), which includes provisions regarding construction liens and holdback requirements.
12. Construction Lien Act (Construction Act) Compliance
Projects in Ontario are subject to the Construction Act, including the lien and holdback provisions. NextReno adheres to these requirements, and any lien claims or disputes are handled in accordance with the Construction Act and the laws of Ontario.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of NextReno or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
14. User Conduct
You agree not to use this site for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the site. You agree to comply with all applicable Canadian and provincial laws, including Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
15. Third-Party Links
This site may contain links to third-party websites, including social media profiles. NextReno is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those external sites.
16. Accessibility
NextReno is committed to accessible service in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA). Please see our Accessibility Statement for details.
17. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to this site are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario. We encourage resolving disputes informally first; you may also contact the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery regarding consumer matters under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002.
